As members, you can read and post. We plan to share and exchange craft tips, interesting blog posts, and handy applications. It’s a place to drop your social media tags so other members of the group can follow you. It’s also an excellent place to announce any milestones in your writing journey. You can ask for marketing shares when your book is released or have a sale on your current publications. Remember, someone might not write in your genre, but you can always help them out by amplifying their social media message.
Starting in October, NIP Bookcamp & Retreat will establish a NaNoWriMo group. For more information about NaNoWriMo, check out:
You can set up your personal page and goals on the NaNoWriMo site but this group will be where we can post progress, frustrations, tips, setbacks, and surprises. Facebook is slightly more user-friendly for group communication than the NaNoWriMo site.
We hope, too, that this will be an ideal site to schedule informal mini writing workshops or summits. Give it a try. Remember, you don’t have to have a fancy author FB page or website to enjoy this group. We’re looking forward to connecting with you all very soon.
